I’m in the drive-thru of burger kinggg 🍔🚘 #hatsunemiku #miku #hatsunemikucosplay #conaltdelete #vocaloid
Okay, so you guys saw my quick pic from the Burger King drive-thru, but you know there's always more to the story! Being out and about in my Hatsune Miku cosplay is always an adventure, but grabbing a quick bite at Burger King while still in full gear? That was a whole new level of fun and a memory I won't forget anytime soon! First off, the looks I got were priceless. You could tell some people recognized Miku and were totally thrilled, maybe even snapping a discreet photo (which I totally don't mind!), while others were just trying to figure out why a blue-haired anime character was ordering a Whopper. 😂 I absolutely love those moments – it’s all part of the joy of cosplay, bringing a little bit of fantasy and unexpected delight into the everyday routines of people. I was actually on my way home from Con Alt Delete, still buzzing from the amazing energy and friendships formed at the convention. And honestly, a Miku-sized craving for crispy fries and a juicy burger hit me hard. You can't beat that post-con hunger, right? It was either grab something quick or risk my energy levels plummeting before I hit my bed! If you're ever thinking of doing something similar, whether it's a quick stop at a fast-food joint in cosplay or just being out in your favorite character, here are a few tips I learned from my own experience: Comfort is Key (Even in Cosplay): Always, always make sure your costume isn't too restrictive if you're going to be sitting in a car, walking around, or most importantly, trying to eat! My wig felt a little heavy after a long day at Con Alt Delete, but thankfully, my outfit itself was pretty flexible, which made getting in and out of the car easy. Be Prepared for Reactions: Most people are curious, friendly, or just amused! I got a few waves, some smiles, and even a couple of thumbs-up from other drivers. Just embrace the attention and have fun with it. Remember, you're spreading a little bit of joy and uniqueness wherever you go! Maneuverability in the Drive-Thru: Ordering can be a bit tricky with certain costume elements. For instance, my iconic Miku headphones, while looking great, sometimes made it a little hard to hear the speaker clearly. I had to lean in a few times, which only added to the amusement for the Burger King staff! Also, reaching for your wallet in a costume can be a mini-challenge, so plan ahead. Food Choices: Opt for something that's relatively easy to eat without messing up your carefully applied makeup or intricate costume pieces. Fries are usually a very safe bet! A Whopper can be a bit messy, especially with all the toppings, but hey, sometimes you just gotta go for it and risk a tiny smudge for that flame-grilled goodness. 😉 I managed to keep my Miku face pristine, thankfully! Stay Hydrated: Conventions are exhausting, and being in costume can make you warmer. Always have water on hand, even for a quick stop. It was such a blast to combine my love for Vocaloid and Miku with a classic fast-food run. It's these little, unexpected moments that truly make cosplaying even more memorable and show that our hobbies can blend seamlessly with everyday life. Plus, who says virtual idols can't enjoy a good flame-grilled burger after a long day of performing (or, in my case, convention-going)? Definitely made my post-con trip back home way more entertaining and delicious. What's your most unexpected cosplay moment or favorite food to grab in character?

I love ur cosplay sm!!! <333
