Steal My Japan Itinerary!
Here are all the things I did in Japan with pricing 🥰🤭 #itinerary #Japan #tokyo #osaka #solotravel
Okay, so everyone asks about Japan trip costs, and I totally get it! One of the must-sees on my itinerary was Osaka Castle, and I wanted to give you the lowdown on what to expect, especially the admission fees. If you're planning your own adventure, this is super helpful. First things first, getting to Osaka Castle is quite easy, even if you're exploring solo like I was. I personally took the JR Loop Line to Osakajokoen Station, and it was a straightforward walk from there. You can also use the Tanimachi or Chuo subway lines. The signage is pretty good, so don't worry about getting lost! Now, for the burning question: Osaka Castle cost! The main keep (the big, impressive building you see in all the pictures) has an admission fee. When I visited, it was 600 Japanese Yen for adults to enter the castle museum and go up to the observation deck. This fee covers access to the interior, which houses a fascinating museum detailing the castle's history, Toyotomi Hideyoshi's life, and exhibits on samurai armor and weaponry. The views from the top floor are absolutely breathtaking, offering panoramic vistas of Osaka city – perfect for a solo photographer like me to capture some stunning shots! Beyond the main keep, there are the beautiful castle grounds themselves, which are free to explore. I spent a good amount of time just walking around, soaking in the atmosphere, and admiring the massive stone walls and moats. There's also the Nishinomaru Garden, which sometimes has a separate entrance fee (usually around 200 yen, or it might be free depending on the season or if there are special events). I’d recommend checking their official website closer to your travel dates for the most up-to-date pricing on the garden. For solo travelers, Osaka Castle is a fantastic experience. It’s well-organized, and you can take your time exploring at your own pace. I found it really easy to just wander, listen to the audio guides (if you opt for one), and reflect on the history. Don't be shy to ask fellow tourists to snap a picture of you – everyone is usually super friendly! I even managed to get some great shots of myself with the castle in the background, making sure to capture the 'STEAL MY' vibe of my trip memories. When you're factoring in your overall Japan budget, remember to account for transportation to and from the castle, maybe a little something from the gift shop, and definitely some delicious snacks from the vendors around the grounds. I grabbed a yummy strawberry treat, which reminded me of the 'STRAWBERRY' mentioned in photos, along with some refreshing green tea. These little extras always add to the experience without breaking the bank. Overall, the Osaka Castle visit was a definite highlight. The cost is very reasonable for such a historically rich and visually stunning attraction. It's a perfect blend of culture, history, and incredible views, making it a must-include in any Japan itinerary, whether you're traveling solo or with friends. Hope this helps you plan your own amazing trip!
