Yahoo! Finance Financial Statement App for Investor Line VI
For value investors, reading financial statements is one of the most important skills before we decide to invest money in a company.
So today I'm going to review Yahoo! Finance, the financial statements apps of companies that VI investors should have on board.
Every time a company issues a quarterly earnings report, there are three main topics:
📊 Income Statement: This section is a quarterly and annual earnings report. This section shows how much revenue the company we invested in, how much it cost, and how much it earned or lost.
📈 Balance Sheet: This is the part that shows what assets the company has, how much value it has, what liabilities it has, and how much equity it has left during the financial statements.
💰 Cash Flow: This is the part that shows us how a company's cash flow flows in and out of each quarter or year.
When I learned to read the financial statements in the early days, 😵💫 said that I had a lot of headaches, but as I continued to read and study, it helped me understand how much strength and financial risk the companies I invested in had.
Some companies have good financial statements, but the market has too many expectations, so that the share price plummets, so that if we understand the financial statements, it will help us not panic about the nerves of the market, as Charlie Munger once said...
"You need to know enough accounts to see when accounting numbers mislead people."
Anyway, friends, try to study. I wonder where you can comment and ask.
