meat & cheese puff pastry 🤤
1 package puff pastry
meat of choice: I used deli ham & turkey
cheese of choice: I used great value sliced white american
1 egg
one- PREHEAT oven to 400*F & line a baking sheet with parchment paper
two- lightly flour paper and roll out pastry (shape closer to rectangle!), add desired fillings -
I added: mayo, spread across pastry, then layered ham & turkey, then one layer cheese.
(my first batch I only used some later of meat, but the next, I’m doubling. It wasn’t enough meat for me.)
three- roll & slice (I did mine approx. 1” thick)
four- put flat side down onto paper about 2” apart. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
five- bake @ 15-20 min, or until they’re golden- brown
six- let cool & serrrrrve
