June 1 Reset: Faith | Feelings + Fresh Starts
I don’t know who needs to hear this, but it’s okay to restart mid-year.
As a faith-filled mama, I’ve learned to treat June 1st like my second January. It’s a soft reset for my spirit, my emotions, and my motherhood journey.
No big pressure. Just gentle reflection, prayer, and realignment. If you’ve been feeling out of sync lately, here’s exactly what I do every June 1st to get back in flow 💛
✨1. Quiet Time with God (Before the house wakes up)
Bible open, worship music low, and heart surrendered. I ask God:
“What do You want me to release this month? What do You want me to receive?”
✨2. Emotional Check-In Journaling
I write 3 things:
• What’s been heavy?
• What have I avoided emotionally?
• What do I need more of (grace, rest, truth, softness)?
It’s raw but healing.
✨3. Vision Re-alignment
I look back at my prayers and goals from January.
Which ones still matter? Which ones need adjusting?
June is a great time to edit—not quit—your vision.
✨4. Detox My Digital Space
I unfollow accounts that no longer feel aligned.
Clear saved content I never used. Mute noise. Create room for clarity.
✨5. Reset My Routine Softly
This isn’t a “5AM boss mom” thing.
It’s more like:
• Setting a bedtime I actually respect
• Adding worship walks or solo Target runs
• Saying “no” more lovingly
Your motherhood is sacred. So is your healing. Don’t wait for January to start fresh. Let June be your holy pause. Your soft reboot. Your permission slip to try again with God at the center.

As we navigate our lives, it’s common to experience feelings of discontent and emotional heaviness. June, often considered a mid-year point, presents an opportune moment for self-reflection and personal growth. People may find themselves yearning for a fresh start, much like the sense of renewal that January brings. To effectively reset your mindset, begin by establishing a quiet time each day for self-reflection, which can include meditation or prayer. Engaging in emotional check-ins through journaling helps clarify your feelings. Jot down thoughts on what has been burdening you, what emotional avoidance may exist, and what aspects of grace, rest, or truth you want to cultivate. Additionally, revisiting your goals from earlier in the year can provide insights into necessary adjustments. Identify which aspirations are still relevant and which ones may need revision. Do not hesitate to detox your digital spaces; unfollow accounts that drain your energy or align poorly with your current goals. This digital clarity can enhance your mental space. Lastly, consider soft resets to your routine. This doesn’t mean drastic overnight changes but rather small adjustments that promote well-being. Establish a bedtime that you commit to, incorporate refreshing activities like walks or solo shopping trips, and learn to say 'no' to commitments that divert your focus from healing. By nurturing your spiritual and emotional health, you can embrace the beauty of starting anew, making June your sacred time for realignment, clarity, and growth.

Reset my faith in knowing God always comes through 🙏♥️
