I’ve been doing my nails at home for 10-15 years. Honestly I lost track of time.
I started doing my own nails after I had a horrific experience at a nail salon, that gave me not just contact dermatitis, but cyclic eczema, a staph infection & MRSA. 😭
(My fingers truly looked like something out of a horror movie.)
I not only went on a healing journey, but also a nail journey.
Back then, even washing the dishes would have my fingers littered in blisters, cracked fingers, & peeling skin. It was incredibly painful, but I was determined to not just heal but have pretty nails again.
So here we are today, I do my nails at home, I don’t really have any flare ups and when I do, I know EXACTLY what I need to do to help my fingers.
My nails, cuticles, finger beds, & finger prints will never be the same.
But, who knows, maybe my story or journey can help someone someday. 🥰
