I have also wanted/ tried to get better at reading. The best way for me to get better at reading is not force it on myself. I was always forcing myself to read. So I learned that I’m not the same as everyone else who reads. I tried different ways to get better at reading and I found what works for me. Highlighting is what works for me and it helps me with what I’m reading.

Examples of how to annotate:

• use tabs

• if you don’t want to annotate you could also take notes after every few chapters
