:Here are some of my favorite photos from my first trip to New Orleans. I’m wicked happy I finally got to visit! (Cheeky plug: I posted ~2 min tiktok)

The first photo in this set was shot on Fujifilm 400 35mm with my Fujica Flash rangefinder camera. It’s a great little affordable camera. I paid $37 USD for it on eBay.

The rest of the photos were shot using my Canon EOS M6 mirrorless camera using a Canon EF-M 22mm lens. Which is perfect for me as I usually like to keep my setup light.

Photography here is not just about capturing moments but also about experiencing the lively atmosphere and engaging with the friendly locals. Make sure to check out the picturesque views along the Mississippi River and enjoy the vibrant nightlife that defines this iconic city. New Orleans is truly a place where every snapshot holds a memory, and I can't wait to return to uncover more of its hidden gems. To get the best shots, I recommend visiting popular spots at different times of the day. The golden hour can create amazing lighting conditions, adding a magical touch to your photos. Don’t forget to bring your camera and be ready to capture the unexpected moments that make this city special.
