My Best ✅ and Worst ❌ Home Purchases of 2025 💸
2025 for me was the year of upgrading my home. I made many purchases on new (or new to me) items around my home. Some I would recommend again, others are a pass.
👍Best :
- Adding a rug under my island made my space more cozy. It really brought life into the kitchen and made the island feel more a part of it.
- A shoe organizer saves us space and my sanity! Rather than shoes all over the entrance, we are able to put them away nicely.
- This Ninja coffee maker is amazing. It takes grounds or K-Cups so if it’s a slow morning and I want to take my time making myself a cup or it’s a run out the door kind of day, this is here for all my needs. It even can make iced coffee for those hot summer days!
- I thrifted this jewelry box and it has helped organize my hair ties, rings, and bracelets.
- I also thrifted a table lamp for my kitchen table. It really warms up the space during dinner and gives us a little more light
🤔Worst:
Remember when I said 2025 was the year of upgrading? Yeah well, some purchases were impulse and I thought I knew what I wanted to do with it. Now I have a table of odds and ends that don’t have a spot and will likely get redonated.
My takeaways? Function is the key! If I am purchasing anything for my home in 2026, I’m going to stick with things that bring functionality over I like it at that moment.
