New drawing ✍🏽 ✨are some up close details ✨
Here is a new drawing I worked on! I’m a stay at home artist and I keep myself busy by working on commissions that people are willing to pay for:) since I do not have any of my own, I had the pleasure to work on this commission for someone I knew of their baby🤗
This piece took me a couple days to complete (a whole day was dedicated, just focusing on the knitting of the sweater) I really enjoyed working on this piece and I thought it would look good with high contrast! With his high contrast shading and more on the details of the subject so that all characteristics pop!!
I ended up selling this piece for $100 but the original price was $200 :)

In the world of art, techniques such as high contrast shading can bring depth and dimension to your pieces. This method enhances the visual impact, making elements pop and capturing viewer attention. Artists often dedicate significant time to specific elements; in this case, a whole day was spent perfecting the knitting details of the sweater worn by the baby in the drawing. The process of commission artwork provides both the artist and the client with a unique opportunity for collaboration, where individual styles and visions can merge into one piece. When sharing art on platforms like Lemon8, utilizing relevant hashtags such as #myartwork and #drawingideas can significantly increase visibility and engagement. Moreover, participating in art communities not only fosters networking but also adds to the artist's credibility and exposure. Overall, whether you are an aspiring artist or a seasoned professional, continually experimenting with contrast and taking on commissions can elevate your skills and artistic expression. What are some techniques you enjoy applying in your artwork?
