Positive Affirmation Day:158

💛 I belong in this world; there are people that care about me and my worth.

💚 During those dark days, especially in my past, I had to fight off the thought of everyone would be better off without me. This was a daily battle when I was younger. I know there are other people out there that have had the same thought. If you’ve had suicidal thoughts or ideations you’ve had the better off without me thought. Here’s the actual clear minded truth, there are people that love you and would be devastated without you in their lives. You belong here. You’re more than you give yourself credit for. The world needs you, and you can’t give up. You have to keep going but maybe this time with a little more support. Be kind to yourself.

... Read moreHey everyone! Following up on my last post about 'I belong in this world; there are people that care about me and my worth,' I wanted to dive a bit deeper into how truly transformative positive affirmations can be, especially when you're navigating those darker periods. It's one thing to say an affirmation, but another to truly feel it and let it rewire your thinking. For me, repeating 'I belong in this world; there are people that care about me and my worth' wasn't just words; it was a lifeline. It helped me challenge those intrusive thoughts that whispered I wasn't enough or that others would be better off without me. If you've been there, you know how powerful those negative loops can be. But guess what? We have the power to create new loops, positive ones that uplift us. You might be wondering, how else can affirmations help? I’ve found that incorporating various positive affirmations throughout my day has created a ripple effect of good energy. Here are a few more types of affirmations I've found incredibly impactful, and perhaps you'll find some that resonate with you: Morning Affirmations for a Positive Start: I love starting my day by declaring, "Today is a fresh start, full of possibilities," or "I am energized and ready to embrace this beautiful day." These simple statements set a positive tone and help me approach challenges with a clearer mindset. For all my ladies out there, "I am a strong, capable woman deserving of all good things" can be a powerful boost! Affirmations for Self-Worth and Confidence: Beyond 'I belong,' I often tell myself, "I am worthy of love, respect, and happiness," or "My unique self is my superpower." This practice really helps counteract any feelings of inadequacy and reminds me of my inherent value. Affirmations for Happiness and Gratitude: On days like 'Thankful Thursday,' I focus on gratitude. "I am grateful for all the blessings in my life, big and small," or "Happiness is my natural state, and I choose joy." Practicing gratitude through affirmations can shift your perspective dramatically. Affirmations for Success and Abundance: Whether it's a personal goal or a professional one, affirmations can help. "I attract success and opportunities effortlessly," or "I am capable of achieving my wildest dreams." It's about believing in your potential to manifest what you desire. Positive Healing Words: For those moments when you need comfort or are working through something difficult, affirmations like "I am healing and growing stronger every day," or "I release all that no longer serves me" can be incredibly soothing. So, how do you make these affirmations stick? It's not magic; it's consistency and belief. Try saying them aloud, looking at yourself in the mirror, or even writing them down in a journal. The key is to truly feel the emotion behind the words. Don't just recite them; embody them. Remember, the world does need you. You are more than you give yourself credit for. Keep going, keep affirming your worth, and build that support system around you, even if it starts with the positive words you tell yourself. You are capable of creating a life filled with purpose and joy. Let's keep uplifting each other!
