The stigma of gaming being a 'childish' pursuit is gradually diminishing as more adults openly embrace their gaming hobbies. In platforms like TikTok and forums, conversations flourished around experiences of parents who find solace and enjoyment in gaming. Many defend their choice, stressing that enjoying video games does not detract from their responsibilities. In fact, it can rejuvenate their mental health, making them better parents and partners. As societal acceptance grows, gaming as a hobby can redefine how we view recreation in parenting.
