เมื่อได้ลองแวะชิมร้านข้าวต้มเมืองพลที่แยกต้นตาล อำเภอพล ขอนแก่น ผมรู้สึกประทับใจอย่างมากกับหลากหลายเมนูที่รสชาติอร่อยจนต้องบอกต่อ โดยเฉพาะเมนูตุ๋นเยื่อไผ่ที่ทางร้านแนะนำ เป็นเมนูยอดฮิตที่ชาวเมืองพลชื่นชอบกันมาก เพราะเนื้อเยื่อไผ่เปื่อยนุ่ม กลิ่นหอมของซี่โครงหมูตุ๋นรสเข้มข้น ซดร้อน ๆ ระหว่างเดินทางนี่ช่วยให้สดชื่นและคลายความเหนื่อยล้าได้ดีจริง ๆ นอกจากนี้ ไส้พะโล้ของร้านก็มีรสชาติเข้มข้นหวานเค็มกำลังดี ไส้นุ่มไม่เหนียว กินแล้วหยุดไม่ได้เลยครับ จ๊อปูที่เสิร์ฟในจานก็เป็นแบบเนื้อปูแน่น ๆ เต็มคำ สำหรับคนชอบอาหารทะเลจานนี้ห้ามพลาด ผัดผักบุ้งหมูกรอบก็เป็นเมนูที่ต้องสั่ง อร่อยเพราะหมูกรอบชิ้นใหญ่กินเต็มคำ มีความกรุบกรอบเค็มหวานกำลังดี เติมเต็มความอร่อยให้มื้อค่ำอย่างลงตัว บรรยากาศร้านติดริมถนนใหญ่ จอดรถสะดวกสบาย เหมาะสำหรับนักเดินทางที่ผ่านเส้นทางโคราช-ขอนแก่น และต้องการพักแวะทานของอร่อยแบบไม่ต้องอ้อมเส้นทาง ที่สำคัญบริการจัดอาหารรวดเร็วภายใน 10-15 นาทีเท่านั้น ยังมีไอศกรีมขายเป็นตัวเลือกของหวานหลังมื้ออาหารอีกด้วย สำหรับใครที่กำลังมองหาร้านข้าวต้มในอำเภอพลที่ครบเครื่องเรื่องเมนูทั้งตุ๋นยาจีน อาหารท้องถิ่นและของว่างหลากหลาย ข้าวต้มเมืองพลถือเป็นตัวเลือกที่ไม่ควรพลาดจริง ๆ ในครั้งหน้าจะลองมารีวิวเมนูใหม่ ๆ ที่ยังไม่ได้ชิมให้ฟังอีกครับ
