A Devney Perry book never disappoints. Set in a small town in Montana in the 80s! Love!! Isla returns to her estranged father’s cabin on the lake after his passing. She finds secret letters, hidden clues, tales of lost gold and the attention of the hot local sheriff. (Who is also the dad of one of her students!)
I loved the chemistry between Isla and Cosi! And her relationship with Spencer was absolutely adorable! The plot was intriguing and kept me hooked. I never guessed the villain of the story and I always love to be shocked!
Definitely recommend this one and I’m looking forward to what comes next for this series!
