This is an example of Armor Sparring, which is a full contact continuous form of sparring. Throws and grappling allowed. Groin shots and head stomps allowed. Sparring with self defense tools allowed. I am working on reviving this type of sparring. This is very different from non armored full contact continuous sparring.
