MY TATTOOS 💉🌹
Tattoos are my therapy 🧘🏾♀️ 😎I love all my tattoos and can’t wait to get more. One is missing because I don’t have a picture of it, I have 9 tattoos in total 😊
It's so true when people say 'tattoos are my therapy!' For me, each piece of ink on my skin is a beautiful reminder, a story, or a tribute to someone or something incredibly special in my life. I love sharing them because maybe my journey can help someone else thinking about their own meaningful tattoo! One of the most common questions I get is about my memorial tattoos. Losing loved ones is never easy, and for me, ink has been a way to keep their memory alive daily. My feather tattoo for my Bigmomma, Mattie La Allen, is one of my most cherished pieces. The feather symbolizes lightness, freedom, and a connection to the spiritual world, and having her birth and passing dates (08-10-1916 and 09-04-2010) etched beneath it, along with those three little birds, feels like she's always flying with me. Similarly, my great aunt Sudie Harvey is honored with a blue ribbon tattoo featuring her name and birth year '12-31-43'. Ribbon tattoos are such a lovely way to remember someone, and they can be customized with colors that hold special meaning. When considering a memorial tattoo, think about symbols that resonate with your loved one's personality or what they meant to you – it could be a specific flower, animal, or even a quote. Then there are the tattoos dedicated to my incredible family members who are still with me, or whose presence I want to carry every day. My mom, Brandy, has her name tattooed on me, not just once but twice! Once in a beautiful script with a floral design and again on my hand. It’s a constant reminder of our bond. My grandma, Mary Ann, is also honored with her first and middle name tattoo next to a lovely rose. And for my great aunty, I have the year '1943' on my wrist – a simple yet powerful tribute to her birth year. These grandma name tattoos and other family name designs are incredibly personal. You can choose to incorporate birth flowers, a significant date, or even a small symbol that represents your relationship. Beyond family, I also have tattoos that mark significant moments or aspects of my identity. My birth clock tattoo with flowers featuring a pocket watch set to 10:00 with the date '11-16-2001' is a special way to commemorate my birth details. It's a popular design for people wanting to mark their own birth or a child's, and adding flowers makes it even more beautiful and personal. And for my zodiac sign, I have a striking scorpion intertwined with a rose. As a Scorpio, that blend of strength and beauty really speaks to me. These types of tattoos are fantastic for expressing who you are and what’s important to you. Choosing your next tattoo is a big decision, especially when it carries such deep meaning. Think about the story you want to tell, the symbols that resonate with you, and the placement that feels right. Each piece of ink is an extension of you, a permanent chapter in your life's story. Happy inking!
