I usually start by moisturizing my locs with a light leave-in conditioner to ensure they're soft and pliable. Then, I gather about a third of my locs from the front and crown area and pull them back into a small, neat ponytail or bun. Sometimes, I'll braid a couple of pieces near my temples before joining them to the rest, adding a touch of elegance. The rest of my locs are left to hang freely. This half-up, half-down look literally takes minutes and is perfect for any occasion, from running errands to a casual evening out. If you have microlocs on short hair or *mini locs*, don't think you're limited! Short locs are actually fantastic for showcasing your face and are incredibly versatile. For a quick look, try gathering just the very top section of your locs into a small puff or a tiny bun right on top of your head. You can also do a simple deep side-part and sweep your locs to one side, securing them with a few bobby pins that match your hair color.
