Holiday Decor Inspiration
Home Christmas decoration tips: just have fun with it!! Every year it’s always a little different than the last year.
💸I use to feel the pressure of needing to overbuy for Christmas decorating so every room is decorated like you see everywhere online. Now I’m just better at working with what I have and working with a budget.
💭When we first started decorating in 2015, all we had was a tree and stockings. I have found most of my stuff at Walmart, dollar tree, target, or it’s been gifted to us. Or we make stuff!! And if I bought it..chances are that it was a good deal. I know a lot of people have a TON of Christmas boxes for decorating EACH ROOM… I am just not that kinda gal… i never had anything passed down to me so I have like 3 boxes of Christmas decorations and 1 of them is for my tree. And another is for outside decorations.
Maybe one year we will have enough decor to decorate all the rooms, but for now this is just enough 🥰🥰
🎄The gold star wand was gifted to us in 2018 and it’s become a tradition in our family to use it every year for our Christmas tree lights. Turning the tree on and off.
🎄The lights in our hallways were inspired by something my teenage daughter found on Pinterest. It costed less than $15. And she did it all herself. Worth. The. Smile. On. Her. Face. She also decorated her door and her bothers door with a snowman theme ☃️
🎄 The holiday pillows on my bench outside. I always buy different ones from Walmart every year. $5 a pillow and they are normally reversible designs! Holds up well in the wintertime.
🎄The snow globe brings me immense joy. Takes me back to my childhood era. Everyone needs a snow globe during Christmas time.
