Sometimes I’m brunette, but sometimes I’m…

Hey! I’m Penelope, (it’s my pen name). I currently live in Washington State. I love the PNW vibes so much! I have lived in 9 states, all but 1 have been the East Coast, and by far the West Coast is my favorite!

I’ve been over at the other social media sites getting overwhelmed and drained. Decided to come here and start anew! I was so fixated on trying to find a niche but then realized… I AM MY NICHE! 💁🏻‍♀️

I am a multifaceted person and I dabble in so many different things because that’s what I love. I could never just focus on one thing because I want to experience it all! Life is pretty awesome and every day I say to myself, “I’m so thankful I GET TO do that.”

I want to use this space as my personal, but public diary and share what it looks like on any given day in my life. Perhaps I may inspire you to try something new, or maybe I’ll just entertain you while you watch me “fail” and succeed. Although I value opinions, I value kindness and mutual respect more. Let’s keep the vibes positive 💕

I believe we all have a story to share, and I’m hoping to connect with likeminded individuals and create community here. 🫶🏼

... Read moreBeing a brunette has always felt like a core part of my identity – a sense of grounding, perhaps, or a certain kind of warmth. For many of us, our hair color isn't just about aesthetics; it can reflect a mood, a phase of life, or even a statement about who we are. But what happens when you realize you're so much more than just one shade, or one role? For me, the journey from identifying as 'a brunette' to embracing all my different 'colors' has been incredibly liberating. It's like the moment I realized the woman smiling in the Ferris wheel, with her long brown hair, is just one version of me. The other image, where I'm blonde and crouching by a rocky stream, represents another equally authentic facet. I've been a 'mom,' a 'gardener,' a 'writer,' and countless other roles that weave together to form the unique tapestry of my life. Each one is a part of me, contributing to who I am and what I bring to the world. It’s easy to get caught up in the pressure of trying to fit into a neat little box, especially on social media. I used to agonize over finding 'my niche,' thinking I had to pick one thing and stick to it. But the truth is, I am my niche! My interests are diverse, my passions are varied, and I love exploring them all. From hiking through the stunning PNW landscapes that I adore here in Washington State, to diving into a new book, or simply sharing a quiet moment of reflection, every experience shapes me. This platform is a space where I want to share the unfiltered reality of my days – the successes, the learning curves, and all the little moments that make life so rich. It's about celebrating every single one of our roles and realizing that we don't have to choose just one. If you're like me, constantly evolving and embracing new parts of yourself, you know how empowering it is to finally say, 'This is me, all of me!' What different 'colors' are you embracing in your life right now? I'd love to hear how you navigate being your wonderfully multifaceted self and make each day your own unique masterpiece. Let's build a community where every shade of our identity is celebrated.
