Peace over Pressure

I didn’t need a new life…I needed new habits rooted in God.

After loss, I had to make a decision; stay stuck in what broke me or let God rebuild me.

So I chose discipline.

I chose prayer.

I chose to move different.

Not perfect… just consistent.

The routines, the prayers, the structure…

all became a part of my healing. And honestly, that journey is what led me to create my Purposeful Power book + prayer cards something I wish I had when I was trying to find my way back.

This is what healing God’s way looks like 💋👌🏽

... Read moreHealing after loss is rarely straightforward, and I’ve learned firsthand that it’s not about instant change but rather embracing steady, God-rooted habits. When life breaks you, the mind often craves quick fixes, but what truly brings peace is cultivating discipline—whether through prayer, routines, or reflections—that reshapes your inner world slowly but surely. I remember feeling stuck, overwhelmed by my pain, until I committed myself daily to practices that connected me deeper with God’s peace rather than worldly pressure. One of the most powerful realizations was that healing doesn’t require perfection; it demands consistency. In my own experience, even small moments of prayer or taking time to pause and reset made a profound difference. These moments didn’t erase the pain overnight but gradually rebuilt my strength and clarity. Another crucial aspect was vulnerability—acknowledging where I struggled and inviting God into those spaces. Embracing vulnerability allowed me to become more confident in my journey and less afraid of setbacks. Creating tools like prayer cards and writing my thoughts in a Purposeful Power book gave me tangible ways to stay disciplined and reminded me daily of my commitment to heal in God’s timing. If you’re navigating similar challenges, know that it’s okay to move at your own pace and prioritize peace over pressure. Ultimately, healing God’s way means allowing Him to lead you through prayer, discipline, and structure—building habits that foster genuine peace rather than rushing for change. For anyone feeling stuck or overwhelmed, starting with a simple choice to move differently each day can open doors to restoration and hope. Remember, peace is greater than chaos, and choosing purposeful habits can lead you beyond pain to a renewed sense of purpose and confidence.
