Don’t know what to pray?
Sometimes we get stuck, sometimes we want God to just hear our hearts because we can’t think of the proper words to say! I feel that. I remember those days.
There was even a moment where I had the words and the enemy was silencing me. Literally, took my ability to speak for a good 5min. I was confused as to why I couldn’t speak. Never had experienced anything like it but I thought it and I held on to Lord’s words in my mind. My ability to speak returned to me and I immediately prayed because that had never happened to me before.
This is my first time speaking on this but I said all of that to say this….
Stay in his word, continue to pray and watch God move mountains on your behalf.

Prayer can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when you can't find the words to express what’s on your heart. Many of us experience moments of spiritual silence or confusion, much like the time the author shared about losing the ability to speak for five minutes. This phenomenon can be unsettling, but it reminds us of the importance of holding on to faith and scripture even when verbalizing is difficult. One effective way to navigate such moments is by incorporating structured prayers focused on healing, discipline, identity, strength, and purpose, which are powerful themes explored in the recognized prayers from the OCR content. For example, praying Psalm 34:18 invites God to heal deeply hidden wounds, while Proverbs 25:28 inspires discipline that aligns our habits with spiritual growth. Reciting 2 Corinthians 5:17 helps affirm your identity in Christ, reinforcing worth and purpose which can give confidence when words fail. In addition, you might find it helpful to journal your prayers or even use simple phrases that come to mind to keep a dialogue with God flowing. Don’t worry about perfection; God hears the intentions of your heart. Continuing daily prayer strengthens your spiritual endurance, builds discipline, and cultivates a deeper relationship with Him. Another encouraging practice is to remind yourself of God’s promises, such as Jeremiah 29:11, which assures that Your life has a divine purpose and that God is actively guiding your path. Trusting these promises during prayer can lift your spirit and open your heart to speak freely. Many believers have shared personal experiences where recommitting to prayer during tough times resulted in powerful breakthroughs and peace. The key is perseverance: stay engaged with God’s Word, be patient with yourself, and let faith be your anchor. Remember, prayer is not about eloquence but about connection. Whether through structured prayers shared in faith communities or spontaneous heartfelt words, your prayer life is a journey of growth, healing, and transformation.
