My go-to strategy often involves using my "SHOTGUN SPECIALIST" skills. Before I even think about moving in for the revive, I try to clear any immediate threats. A well-placed headshot can eliminate an enemy pushing your downed teammate, giving you that precious window. There's no point in both of you getting eliminated, right? Once the coast is as clear as it can be, that's when you sprint for it. Sometimes, you just have to commit. I've learned that hesitation can be deadly. Get to your teammate, start that revive, and keep your eyes peeled. Even if you're exposed, getting that revive off sometimes makes all the difference, especially if your revived teammate has a medkit or shields ready. They can immediately re-engage or provide cover for your retreat. In the intensity of OG Fortnite, where every bullet counts and the storm is an ever-present threat, knowing when and how to perform a 'Reaven Revive' is critical. It's about risk assessment, quick combat, and pure heart. There have been countless times where pulling off such a revive led to us regrouping, pushing back, and ultimately being the "only one winner."
