Not chasing skinny anymore I’m chasing strength,

This is a 1 year difference. I used to be so obsessed with being smaller. I was overdoing cardio, extreme fasting, under-eating, and still never satisfied.

Now? I’m lifting heavy, fueling my body, and finally feeling strong AND confident.

The scale went up, but so did my muscle, my energy, and my peace.

Many people, especially those previously fixated on weight loss through excessive cardio and restrictive dieting, find themselves trapped in an unhealthy cycle where satisfaction remains elusive. Instead, prioritizing strength training—such as lifting heavier weights—not only improves muscle mass but also enhances metabolism, energy levels, and mental clarity. The numbers highlighted in the OCR content, '182lbs' and '194lbs,' suggest an increase in body weight due to muscle gain rather than fat, which is a positive indicator of improved fitness. Strength training combined with proper nutrition fuels the body adequately, supports recovery, and promotes long-term health benefits beyond the aesthetic goals. Moreover, abandoning extreme fasting and under-eating avoids metabolic slowdown and hormonal imbalances that often accompany such behaviors. This kind of sustainable approach encourages a balanced lifestyle where mental peace and body confidence go hand in hand. For anyone struggling with body image or fitness dissatisfaction, adopting a strength-focused regimen could not only transform physical appearance but also foster greater emotional resilience and self-esteem. This approach aligns with modern fitness trends that celebrate functional strength and holistic well-being over mere weight reduction.
