When you read the Hanes Hosiery Gym Stories, on my Page, I lived these events and memories, I enjoy reflecting on these accounts, they mean so much to me, 💕 I hold these reflections close to my heart, ❤️ because so many of these friends have transitioned over the years, I wish they were hear to read these documentaries gives shows honor to them, many of these ballers 🏀 were Law Enforcement and Fire Department personnel and they often shared information that would be important in our daily lives, and I trusted these Men of Valor, I even signed up and ventured a ride along, for an entire shift, with the Winston-Salem Police Department which was truly an eye 👁️ opening experience , Officer Terry Fulp Veteran Officer ... however these Soldiers 🪖 in this story, were seasoned officers as well, the Fire 🚒 Department 🏬 personnel who played regularly were, Willie Griffin aka, "Super Sub" former standout at Atkins Highschool 🎒 and Wake Forest University, we also had Bobby Kimbrough former standout at North Forsyth Highschool 🎒 and later became Historically the County First 🥇 Black Sheriff, another standout at North Forsyth Highschool 🎒 was Gary Brown aka "Fonz", longtime battalion leader with the Winston-Salem Fire 🚒 Department, also there was Cornelius Holmes standout football 🏈 star at Winston-Salem State University ♈, also there was Eddie Jordan a basketball 🏀 standout at Johnson C.Smith University, Sampson Smalls, standout for Carver High, and North Forsyth 🎒 Football 🏈, and from the Forsyth County Sheriff's Department we had, Deputy Joe Bunion, Detention Unit C.O. Dean Hargrave, and Highschool basketball 🏀 standout Deputy Chuck Shore, Harrison Stokes, William Birch, and for the Winston-Salem Police Department, we had Ofc.Harrison Davis, aka, 'Harry O" and Sgt.Thurman Carter aka, "Tee', and Ofc.Duane Aliens, Sgt Michael Jennings, Ofc.Ronald Hoggs, Ofc.Chuck Byrum, Field Supervisor Steve Harriston, and Big Calvin, and State Prison CO James Miller, I give Salutations to each and every one of these Pioneers and a few Lawyers that mixed it up with us, some mornings, Micheal Grace, Paul Cloud, and a couple successful General Contractors, Johnny Ray Willuford, and Stretch Grace, these were the years, I'll forever treasure. 💕
