Complacent 🍷

My motivation 💪 from working in the Factory 🏭 was to make Management, I'm not the hands on type of individual, running a machine for thirty years, wasn't' my thing, only a stepping stone 🪨 to where my journey was leading me, never attended College, actually started working in the Mill at 17, these present Foremans had no College, Trade School 🎒, and many never even Graduated 🎓 from Grade School 🎒, they were Sons of Farmers, they made management so, can I, I'm going to get my Diploma regardless, that was a commitment to myself and my Dad, he never finished school 🎒 he has been in the Mill since he was 19, he drove a Truck 🚛 for the Company, however, my goal 🥍🥅 was to wear a starch shirt 👕, all that lifting, pushing, picking up heavy loads was not 🚫 my forte, 😂 I believe in working hard mentally not 🚫 physically, Labor was not for me, I served my time doing serious labor for 11 years too long, that's how long it took me to elevate to management, ....and the funny thing about it is , all I ever wanted was Managing, and I got complacent after that, ...there weren't many Blacks in Management and I felt compelled to push my subordinates to be the best they can be, it's ambel opportunity in this very Company, Technical Support, Laboratory 🧪⚗️, Quality Control, Logistics, don't get complacent on Machines, you built to be much much more....The road less traveled is Ambition not 🚫 Complacency 🛣️... desire to be more, don't be like me, reach your goal and quit is not 🚫 the Way.... 💯
