私も実際にこの実験遊びを子どもと一緒に試してみました。水分多めの絵の具を紙に塗り、重曹や片栗粉、ラップ、ティッシュなど様々な素材をのせて乾かす過程は、まさに小さな科学実験のようで、子どもたちの好奇心をぐっと刺激しました。 最初は「これでどうなるの？」と半信半疑でしたが、乾くにつれて模様やにじみ方がそれぞれ異なり、「ここ全然違うね！」と声をあげながら観察す る姿が印象的です。こうして違いを見つけることで自然と観察力が鍛えられ、なぜそのような結果になったのか思考する力も育まれます。 特に黒に近い濃い色の絵の具を使うと、結晶の模様がはっきりと浮かび上がって、色の変化が楽しめるのでおすすめです。また、変化の過程をじっくり見守ることで集中力も高まり、これがさらに次の実験への興味や予想力にもつながっていると感じました。 子どもが発見したことや感じた不思議を言葉に出して話すことで、表現力も伸びるため、親子でコミュニケーションを取りながら楽しむのにぴったりの遊びです。もし身近な素材で試す場合は、使う量や素材の組み合わせを変えてみることで、予想外の結果に出会えるかもしれません。 この実験遊びは、知育に興味のある方や療育の先生方からも人気が高く、子育て中の悩み「何しよう？」を解決してくれる楽しい時間になるでしょう。気になるポイントがあれば、気軽にメッセージで相談してみるのもおすすめです。親子で新しい発見を経験しながら、楽しい知育時間を過ごしてみてはいかがでしょうか。
