it’s never too late to find the new you

for my first post on lemon8 i wanted to talk about something that’s been heavy on my heart: finding yourself again.

everything feels so loud right now. so many opinions, aesthetics, ideologies… it almost feels like there’s no room to just be.

if you’ve been feeling lost or disconnected, i want you to know that’s okay. you don’t have to have it all figured out. you’re not behind. you’re just in a season of remembering WHO YOU ARE

this is for the woman who’s been trying to keep up with trends/gossip/culture but secretly misses herself.

the girlies who’s tired of performing based on what the world expects of her. tired of pretending just to make others happy. just trying to come home to her own soul.

i talk more about this in a video on my YouTube channel if you wanna hear the full thing.

save this post if it speaks to you, or come back to it when you need the reminder.

Signs that you may be in a self-rediscovery era include craving slowness, feeling drained by constant explanations, and realizing that past dreams no longer resonate. To help navigate this journey, it's essential to redefine success on your own terms, let go of rigid timelines, and create an environment that nurtures your spirit. Consider curating a 'soft power' playlist to start your day with intention, romanticizing your mornings with nurturing rituals that bring joy, and engaging in mindful activities such as journaling without judgment. Remember, it's never too late to embrace your vulnerability and prioritize your well-being—small steps towards healing can lead to profound transformations. By giving yourself permission to change and exploring new facets of your identity, you're on the path to reclaiming your joy and authenticity.
