a lot of you are spiritual but not discerning

A lot of spiritual and intuitive women avoid books like this because it feels dark and many women fear it might make you manipulative or take away your softness. But the truth is you’re already moving through a world where people understand power, whether they use it consciously or not. And if you don’t have language for what’s happening, you’re more likely to overextend yourself or ignore what your intuition was trying to tell you. Reading this isn’t about becoming cold or manipulative, it’s about becoming aware. You can be soft, empathetic, and still see things clearly. This is about protecting yourself, not changing who you are. If you have any questions or curiosities on how to approach this book definitely ask me ✨

... Read moreAs someone deeply connected to my spiritual intuition, I found that recognizing the balance between being soft and being discerning is a vital skill that often goes overlooked. Many spiritual women tend to avoid materials that discuss power dynamics or manipulation because these topics can feel harsh or at odds with their gentle nature. However, embracing discernment is not about becoming cold or manipulative; rather, it’s about gaining clarity and protecting your personal energy. For instance, I recently explored "The 48 Laws of Power" by Robert Greene, which many spiritual women might hesitate to read because of its reputation for teaching manipulative tactics. Yet, this book offers invaluable insights into understanding intentions behind people's actions—a skill that can help avoid emotional burnout and overextension. It names subtle patterns of influence that we intuitively sense but might struggle to articulate. What changed for me was the realization that discernment can coexist with empathy and softness. You don’t have to harden your heart; instead, you can strengthen your awareness so that you recognize when others’ energies are genuine or when they might be using power unconsciously or strategically. This awareness has allowed me to maintain my feminine energy while confidently navigating complex interpersonal situations. Using discernment also enhances emotional intelligence. When you tune in not only to your own feelings but also to the deeper intentions behind words and actions, you become better equipped to set boundaries without feeling guilty. This self-protection protects your mental and spiritual well-being and enables healthier relationships. If you’re hesitant to delve into books or conversations about power because you fear losing your softness, try reframing the concept: discernment is about embracing your full spectrum—softness and strength. Accessing this balance empowers you to thrive in environments where power dynamics are at play, whether in personal life, work, or spiritual communities. Ultimately, developing discernment is a form of self-care for the spiritual and intuitive woman. It supports you in honoring your intuition while providing practical tools to navigate a world where power and strategy are realities. Embrace it not as a departure from your true self but as an enhancement that allows your light to shine even brighter.

I have this book at home, want to read it but was told I shouldn’t because it’ll make me untrustworthy, manipulative and have me “moving like a man”. So I put it on the shelf and thought about if I was going to still read it and I definitely want to.
