Lemon8 Diary Challenge, Day 20

Here is a food photo dump from 2018-2020 of the foods I’ve made. The carrots were from a can and the yellow rice came from a box😂😂😂 but i worked hard on my chicken, potato salad, cookies and fried apples!!!To be honest, I miss cooking like this. Food costs way too much these days and it’s sad. #lemon8diarychallenge

Throughout 2018-2020, I learned how to put together meals that weren’t just about taste, but also about bringing people together. Fried chicken is a classic dish that never fails to impress, and it can be adapted in countless ways, such as adding different seasonings or cooking methods. Yellow rice paired with vegetables like broccoli provides not only color but nutritious value to any meal. Potato salad has its own special place in gatherings; its cool, creamy texture complements hearty dishes perfectly. Additionally, desserts like cookies are a great way to end a meal on a sweet note. In our current climate, food prices can be daunting, pushing many of us to find budget-friendly meals that spark joy and flavor. Learning to cook with less can inspire creativity in the kitchen.
