Narcissistic Abuse ❤️‍🩹

... Read moreNavigating a relationship with a narcissist can feel incredibly isolating and confusing. I remember questioning my own reality constantly, wondering if I was the problem. It's a journey many of us unfortunately embark on, and understanding what you're truly dealing with is the first crucial step towards reclaiming your peace and embarking on a healing journey. Many people ask, "What is a narcissist?" They are often masters of illusion, charming and captivating on the surface, drawing you in with grand promises that seem too good to be true. But beneath that carefully constructed facade lies a deep-seated need for admiration, a profound lack of empathy, and a blatant disregard for others' feelings. It's a stark contrast to the loving, supportive person you initially believed them to be. The painful truth I learned is that a narcissist promises dreams but delivers nightmares. That is not love. It’s a harsh reality to face when you realize the person you trusted is systematically dismantling your sense of self-worth and reality. They operate under a distorted logic where they believe their actions are justified by others' behavior, constantly shifting blame and rarely taking genuine responsibility. You’ll often hear them utter phrases like, 'You made me do this,' or 'If you hadn't done X, I wouldn't have reacted Y.' They want you to believe you caused their behavior, when in truth, they acted that way long before you, and will continue to act that way long after. This manipulation is designed to keep you questioning yourself, trapped in a cycle of self-doubt. Through my own experience and countless hours of reflection, I've come to recognize a few key insights and 'quotes' that encapsulate the essence of their behavior: 'Their apologies are often just another manipulation, a temporary fix to regain control, not an expression of true remorse.' 'They don't see you as a person with your own needs and feelings, but as an extension of themselves, there solely to fulfill their needs.' 'The only way to truly 'win' with a narcissist is not to play their game at all.' 'They thrive on chaos and your emotional reaction; starve them of it, and you begin to regain your power.' Understanding these patterns is absolutely crucial for self-preservation. As the powerful insight from the image suggests, it is vital to reflect on leaving narcissists, because they only act right temporarily. This isn't about giving up on love or relationships; it's about making the courageous choice to choose yourself. You deserve happiness, safety, and genuine love, and true healing begins when you accept that you cannot change them, only your response to them and your environment. It's a challenging healing journey, filled with ups and downs, but every step away from narcissistic abuse is a monumental step towards reclaiming your identity, repairing your spirit, and building a life filled with genuine connection, peace, and self-respect. Seek support, set firm boundaries, and remind yourself daily of your inherent worth. You are stronger than you think, and freedom is within reach.

And what’s crazy is the love you had for that person(the narc) they apparently don’t ever remember or say you did this or that…not out of love but to use against them in some type of way. Shits crazy. The healing process is hard. The moving on even harder. What’s more sad…everything good in you and

So glad to finally be getting me back. The woman I knew I could be. I will never allow anyone to abuse me again! I fought so hard for my husband only to have him do what he has done. What he has done to our children! And when I say that I mean, the minute that he decided to abuse my daughter, the s

Calling narcissistic abuse for what it is isn’t mean
Apparently using the correct word to describe a narcissist and being able to name the abuse is “going too far.” 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ Meanwhile they called us every name in the book. Tell me in the comments - what’s the most outrageous thing the narcissist in your life ever called you? #narctok
