When planning your trip, it's important to consider the flexibility of your budget. As noted, a daily spend of around $100 on food and activities is feasible if you plan carefully, while accommodation varies widely depending on location and season. One of the biggest advantages of Boston is its accessible public transit system, mostly the MBTA trains and buses. However, it's crucial to be aware that some train lines may close earlier than expected, especially on weekends or holidays, so planning ahead can save you from unexpected delays. Keep an eye on the MBTA website or app for real-time updates. Don't miss iconic attractions like the Freedom Trail, Boston Common, and Faneuil Hall Marketplace, where you can enjoy a mixture of history, shopping, and local flavors. Since Boston is a compact city, walking between many points of interest is enjoyable and often faster than transit during peak hours. For food, try local specialties such as clam chowder, lobster rolls, and Boston cream pie. To keep costs manageable, explore casual dining and street vendors rather than high-end restaurants, especially if you want to stay within a budget similar to $100 daily. Given Boston’s historical significance and dynamic atmosphere, your visit is likely to be memorable. Whether it’s your first time leaving the state or you’re revisiting, Boston’s unique charm and practical travel options make it a rewarding destination. Planning your itinerary carefully with an emphasis on budget and schedules will help you make the most of your trip.
