... Read moreKeeping your car clean can sometimes feel like a never-ending battle, especially if you lead a busy life or have a creative, spontaneous personality. Many people joke that creative individuals tend to be messier, but when it comes to cars, cleanliness can make a big difference in comfort and safety. One helpful tip is to regularly clean out the "crusty" buildup inside the vehicle; this prevents dust and debris from accumulating and keeps the interior feeling fresh. Another practical advice is to keep a set of clean towels specifically for car use, as mentioned in the recognition content. Using dedicated towels prevents cross-contamination and makes it easier to maintain spotless surfaces. Also, investing in a reliable vacuum designed for car interiors can dramatically improve your ability to clean hard-to-reach areas. For parents or caregivers, like those identified by the hashtag #sahmof2 (Stay At Home Mom of 2), managing a clean car might be even more challenging, but routine clean-outs before school or after activities can reduce clutter significantly. Embracing a cleaning schedule tied to your lifestyle, such as weekly quick vacuum sessions or wiping down surfaces, helps keep your car in top shape. Ultimately, recognizing when your car is "getting bad" or dirty is essential. Setting simple reminders or visual cues can encourage prompt cleaning and prevent neglect. With a bit of commitment and the right tools, even the busiest creative person can maintain a clean, comfortable driving environment that reflects care and attention to detail.

Best hack/decision I made was to buy a cheap handheld vacuum that has an ozone function. It is small enough to fit in the back door pocket of my Honda crv. I got it for 20-30$ on chewy. (The suction is great but I also have a Carwash membership so it really does only get used as a purifier lol.) You literally just place it in the cup holder, press the o3 button when getting out, and let it run overnight. I do this about 1-2x weekly depending on the season and whether anyone is feeling sickly, etc. it also helps with eliminating odors when they appear mysteriously. 😂🙈 And It charges with a usb when getting low. But its battery life will last for atleast a few days or so.
