Green Goddess Seasoning
I found this at our Local Sam’s Club! It is so good!
I tried it with the Mayo, I found it to be okay! I substituted Greek Yogurt instead of Mayo, Sooooooooo Good! You could even substitute Sour Cream (I have not tried that yet). I use it as a dressing for my salad and I put in Feta Crumbles (you could use another option of cheese or choose no cheese). You could add other things to see what works for you! And I don’t know how long they’ll have the Seasoning. I thought I would share just in case someone else wanted to try it too!
Okay, so I'm still buzzing about my fantastic Sam's Club find – the Member's Mark Green Goddess Seasoning! You know how sometimes you stumble upon an ingredient that just changes your whole cooking game? This is it for me. I’ve seen a lot of chat online about Green Goddess Seasoning ingredients and green goddess seasoning uses, and let me tell you, this blend delivers! First off, for those wondering, what exactly is Green Goddess Seasoning? Generally, it's a vibrant, herbaceous blend that brings a fresh, savory kick to pretty much anything. The Member's Mark version, according to the bottle labels I checked, is a delightful mix of garlic, onion, parsley, chives, citrus, and black pepper. It's got that classic zesty, savory, and slightly tangy profile that makes Green Goddess so irresistible. And yes, the bottle did say 'Limited Time Offering,' so if you see it at Sam's Club, grab it! Now, about making it healthy – that's where my Greek yogurt hack comes in! Many recipes for Green Goddess dip or dressing call for mayo or sour cream. While those are delicious, I experimented and found that swapping in plain Greek yogurt makes it incredibly creamy and boosts the protein, cutting down on some of the fat. So for those asking, 'is it healthy?' – with this simple switch, it absolutely can be! Just mix a spoonful of the seasoning with a good dollop of Greek yogurt, a squeeze of lemon (if you like extra tang), and a splash of water or milk to reach your desired consistency. It's become my go-to for salads, especially with some crumbled feta, as mentioned in the original post. But don't stop at salads and dips! This seasoning is surprisingly versatile. I’ve used it to season roasted vegetables – it makes broccoli, potatoes, or even bell peppers sing. Sprinkle it on chicken or fish before baking for an instant flavor boost. I even stirred a pinch into scrambled eggs last weekend, and wow, what a game-changer! It's also fantastic mixed into cream cheese for a bagel spread or stirred into mashed potatoes. And what if you can't find the Member's Mark Green Goddess Seasoning? Don't despair! While it's a personal favorite, you can often find other brands like McCormick Green Goddess Seasoning, or even explore Trader Joe's Green Goddess Seasoning if you have one nearby. For a green goddess seasoning substitute, you can also try making your own! A basic homemade blend might include dried parsley, chives, garlic powder, onion powder, a little lemon zest, and black pepper. It gives you that fresh, herbaceous vibe in a pinch. It’s all about experimenting and finding what works for your taste buds. So, whether you're using the Sam's Club find, a different brand, or making your own, I highly recommend incorporating Green Goddess Seasoning into your cooking routine. It's an easy way to add a burst of fresh flavor to so many dishes!
