Who doesn’t love an easy, filling, warm, quick meal?! Try this pierogi kielbasa dish I promise you won’t be disappointed! Ingredients:
• 1 box Mrs. T’s mini pierogies (any flavor)
• 1 pack Polska kielbasa, sliced
• 1–2 onions, sliced (depending on size)
• 1 can cream of mushroom soup (or any cream soup you have on hand)
• ⅓ cup sour cream
• Seasonings (measure with your heart): salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, Tony’s (or your favorite blend)
• 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)
• 2–3 Tbsp butter
• Green onions, for garnish
Instructions:
1. Slice the kielbasa into rounds. In a skillet, fry until browned and slightly crispy. Remove and set aside.
2. In the same pan, melt butter. Add onions with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Sauté until softened and golden.
3. Add the pierogies straight into the pan with the onions. Cook in the butter until heated through and lightly browned on the outside.
4. In a bowl, mix together cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, paprika, onion powder, Tony’s, and a little more salt + pepper.
5. Add kielbasa back into the skillet with the pierogies, then stir in the sauce until everything is coated.
6. Transfer mixture into a round cake pan (or casserole dish). Sprinkle cheese on top.
7. Bake at 400°F for about 10 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
8. Garnish with sliced green onions and serve warm.
