How are yall feeling about Athena body mist etc.?🤔
I like all but one.. Petal Bloom.. eeeyuck! Wanted Solar Muse but it was sold out.. so I'll have to order it or go to another Target for it..Opted out on the matching lotions.. they weren't that great to me .. VQ body mist smell pretty darn good as well! They're small.. but scent wise they're mighty! Lastly the controversial Mixbar Marshmallow Creme.. I like it! Sure do!🎯
Athena body mists:
*Super Pink🔥(Fav)
*Love Letter🔥 (2nd fav)
*Golden Vanilla
*Amber Haze
*First Blush
*Salted Sunset
VQ body mists:
*Pink Marshmallow 🔥🔥
(Smells so yummy! It smells just like BBW Peeping it real body mist)
*Blush Cocoa 🔥🔥🔥🔥
(This one is gorgeous! It smells like it could be a designer Edp.)
*Very Vanilla
(Was ok.. just another Vanilla scent)
Mixbar:
*Marshmallow Creme.. Edp. & body mist❤
(I like this scent.. saw a lot of mixed reviews about it.. more negative ones than good ones.. I think it's good.. especially for layering.. I will say the body mist smells a lil better than the Edp. to my nose)
Enjoyed my Target run.. hadn't been in there in forever!
... Read moreDuring my recent Target haul, I decided to dive deeper into the world of affordable yet captivating body mists, especially focusing on popular collections like Athena, VQ, and the Mixbar Marshmallow Creme. What I found was quite interesting and worth sharing for anyone curious about these fragrances.
One of the standouts for me was the Athena line, especially the Super Pink and Love Letter mists. These two carried a bold, lasting scent that felt youthful and vibrant, perfect for everyday wear. The variety in this line also allows for different moods—from the warmth of Amber Haze to the subtle sweetness of First Blush—which is great if you like switching up your fragrance depending on the occasion.
I was pleasantly surprised by the VQ body mists as well. Pink Marshmallow was incredibly reminiscent of popular BBW scents, offering a familiar yet unique take on the marshmallow sweetness that doesn’t feel overbearing. Blush Cocoa was even more special; it had this rich, almost designer Eau de Parfum quality that made it feel luxurious without the hefty price tag. It’s a perfect choice if you want a scent that feels more upscale without splurging.
For those debating the Mixbar Marshmallow Creme, I can say that despite its mixed reviews, I found it quite wearable and enjoyable, especially in layering with other scents. Interestingly, the body mist version seemed to have a fresher, more appealing profile compared to the Eau de Parfum, which some might find too intense. Layering it over a neutral or vanilla-scented lotion amplifies its sweetness subtly, creating a cozy and inviting aroma.
One thing to note is the limited availability of some scents like Solar Muse, which may require checking multiple Target stores or ordering online. Also, while the body mists are smaller in size, their scent strength and longevity often punch above their weight, making them a great addition to your fragrance collection.
If you're someone who enjoys exploring different scents or looking for budget-friendly fragrance options that don’t compromise on quality, these Target body mists offer an excellent variety. Just a heads-up, the lotions don’t seem to match the quality of the mists in terms of scent payoff and staying power based on my experience.
Overall, this haul reminded me how fun and rewarding it is to rediscover affordable gems in everyday stores like Target. It’s worth keeping an eye out for seasonal releases and trying out these body mists, especially if you love layering fragrances or simply want to freshen up your scent wardrobe without breaking the bank.
Yeees sis!!! I see you made your way!🎯🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
