As a forensic science student, my passion for understanding the complexities of the human body drives me daily. Balancing studies and advocacy can be daunting, especially when living with a chronic condition. The pursuit of knowledge in forensic science not only fuels my curiosity but also equips me to speak authentically about chronic illness, fostering awareness and support. Being engaged brings a mix of joy and responsibilities that I navigate alongside my academic journey. Planning a future together while managing health challenges can be overwhelming. However, I find strength in community connections, particularly through platforms like Lemon8, where sharing experiences can inspire and uplift others facing similar battles. In addition to my studies, I nurture my love for cats, which brings comfort and companionship during stressful times. As I share my journey, I hope to engage with fellow students, chronic illness advocates, and animal lovers who can relate to the intertwined paths of study, advocacy, and personal interests.
