Is this you too?

... Read moreAs a millennial woman navigating life beyond 40, I find the starter pack incredibly spot-on and relatable. From carrying an emotional support Stanley or Owala water bottle to needing an oversized cardigan or shacket for comfort, these small items become essential daily companions. One thing that really hits home is the reliance on white sneakers that match everything and wearing reading glasses, even if you’re convinced you don’t need them yet. I often catch myself with a hair tie permanently around my wrist to keep things handy because, well, you never know when a quick ponytail rescue is needed! Snacking is a ritual, especially those protein bars and a growing obsession with diet coke or ALDI finds. Coffee before any conversation? Absolutely necessary—it’s often the only thing that gets me through those early mornings. And when I say "Should we just order pizza?" it’s because sometimes the easiest dinner feels like a win. The tech side is all too real: having 127 tabs open, thousands of photos saved, ongoing battles with two-factor authentication, and still defaulting to "Google it" for even the smallest questions. I’m sure many can relate to the mix of emoji fluency paired with classic millennial habits. Health-wise, ibuprofen is your pocket buddy, magnesium before bed is a ritual, and random aches like knee pain or neck stiffness from sleeping wrong seem to be part of the package. Stretching before any physical activity now feels mandatory rather than optional. Personality-wise, we crave social outings but often cancel because home feels like the better option. Getting excited over new storage bins and planners, yet still forgetting appointments, is something that hits close to home. And texting "Made it home!" after seeing friends is an unspoken rule of social etiquette. Entertainment is all about rewatching favorite shows like Veronica Mars or Felicity and turning to true crime documentaries or Harry Potter comfort movies for a relaxing night. Reality TV guilty pleasures and podcasts during chores are staples in keeping life entertaining. Finally, the common phrases resonate deeply: "I'm too old for this," "I need a nap after that," "It's too loud in here," "I just want everyone to leave me alone for 10 minutes," and "Let's be home before dark" perfectly encapsulate the millennial woman’s mindset over 40. It’s these shared experiences that make this starter pack more than a list — it's a lifestyle snapshot we all recognize and embrace.

A 5 day 40 hour work week is too long
I’ve been working a “real job” for nearly 4 years and I think that 5/40 is too long. You start your day at 6am and your time is not your own until 5pm or so. Then you have to be asleep by 10pm, because of the whole up-at-6 thing. Does it suck as bad as 18 hours in a coal mine? Obviously not,

You’re never too broken, to dirty, or too sinful.
The woman at the well was broken. She wasn’t someone many in her time would have associated with. She had been married 5 times and the man she was living with wasn’t one of those 5 husbands. She was a Samaritan. Jesus was a Jew. They weren’t supposed to associate with one another. Yet Jesu
