I’ve learned that having a simple, effective morning routine with just the essentials can make a huge difference. For example, focusing on the basics like setting out clothes the night before, prepping breakfast in advance, and keeping a designated phone spot can reduce stress and avoid the 'where’s my phone?' scramble. Incorporating mindfulness into the morning, even for a few minutes, helps create a calm start that can carry through the day. I also find that using reminders or a morning checklist on a physical notepad helps me stay on track without depending solely on my phone. Balancing mom life means sometimes things are out of your control, but establishing these basics can make mornings smoother and more manageable.
