For spots, many of the same beautiful locations you love in summer are fantastic in winter too. Think calm bays and protected inlets along the coast, or even tranquil lakes further inland. The scenery can be breathtakingly beautiful with fewer boats and clearer skies. I've found some incredible wildlife viewing opportunities in winter that I rarely see in busier seasons.
