As an avid traveler, one of my favorite things to do is keep track of all the incredible places I've explored! My personal 'States I've Been To' map is constantly growing, and it's so satisfying to see those yellow highlights fill up. Currently, I've had the amazing opportunity to visit 22 states across the US, which means I've ticked off about 44% of the country – what an incredible journey so far! It’s always a challenge to pick absolute favorites, but out of those 22 states, there are definitely 9 that hold a special place in my heart. Each one offered unique experiences, from breathtaking national parks to vibrant cityscapes and delicious local cuisine. What makes a state a 'favorite' for me often comes down to the unexpected moments, the friendly faces I meet, or a landscape that just completely blows me away. These are the places that truly made my travel experiences unforgettable.
