Third pic was like two weeks before rehab. I may be getting old but I’m doing MUCH better now 🫡
Sharing personal experiences about health progress, especially when approaching rehab, can be both motivating and insightful. From my own journey, I’ve learned that acknowledging how far you’ve come—even if it feels slow or challenging—is vital. Two weeks before rehab, emotions run high, but recognizing improvement boosts morale significantly. I discovered that tracking small milestones helps maintain perspective and encourages perseverance. During this period, focusing on nutrition, rest, and mental health made a difference. For example, balancing energy intake with light physical activity helped rebuild strength without overwhelming the body. Engaging in supportive communities, either online or locally, provided encouragement and practical tips that were invaluable. Additionally, preparing mentally for rehab by setting realistic goals and practicing mindfulness techniques eased anxiety. Over time, I noticed that surrendering control in some areas allowed me to focus more on actionable steps in recovery. Improvement isn’t always linear, but celebrating each success fosters a positive mindset. Overall, lifestyle adjustments—such as improving diet quality and creating routine—helped me feel better physically and emotionally prior to rehab. This journey taught me that healing requires patience, self-compassion, and openness to support, which I hope encourages others facing similar recovery paths.
