💭 Overall Thoughts: This is the definition of an East Nashville “hole in the wall”. It is not very “dine-in” friendly BUT, the food is AMAZING and I had the best cabbage and turnip greens I’ve ever had here. The prices are a little pricey, BUT worth every penny towards a small owned business! The owner is Robert and the food is amazing! I’ve been 6 times now and I’m addicted 😫

The atmosphere is cozy with a unique twist; local art adorns the walls, showcasing works from Nashville artists which adds a creative and community-focused ambiance. The owner, Robert, is passionate about creating a warm environment and dishes that keep customers coming back, which is why I've been back six times already. Prices might seem a bit higher than your typical diner, but the quality and flavor justify every penny, especially supporting a small business in this vibrant neighborhood. One tip for visitors: the place is not very dine-in friendly with limited seating, so consider taking food to go or dining at nearby spots. If you're hunting for good food near you or planning a chill weekend in Nashville, Roadside Pantry offers a memorable dining experience that pairs well with exploring off-the-beaten-path venues. Plus, their hours are accommodating from Tuesday to Saturday, 11 AM–8 PM, and Sunday until 5 PM, which makes it easy to fit into your plans. Overall, for those who love experiencing local flavors and prefer spots with a genuine, homegrown feel, this hidden gem in East Nashville will not disappoint.
