Get your light first
Before trying to work with demons, many spiritual traditions taught self mastery, shadow work, purification, and healing first. Why? Because if you do not know yourself, control your emotions, or heal your wounds, it becomes easy to be manipulated through ego, fear, trauma, greed, lust, or desperation.
Demons are often said to test weakness, temptation, and imbalance. If you lack personal power or spiritual authority, you may end up entering unhealthy spiritual agreements, pacts, or energetic contracts without fully understanding what you are doing.
Shadow work helps you face the hidden parts of yourself so they can no longer control you unconsciously. Healing builds discernment. Self mastery builds discipline. Spiritual cleansing strengthens your energy. The more light, wisdom, and balance you cultivate within yourself, the more firmly you can stand in your own authority.
