DIY Anniversary Scrapbook 🤎
Our anniversary has passed already but I’m still working on the scrapbook! It’s the perfect keepsake of our first year together especially since so much has happened in it.
I took a bunch of inspiration from @sav for a lot of my pages as I’m just getting back into my crafting and her scrapbook turned out beautifully. The more I work on this though the more my creativity is coming back to me. I’ll post the rest of the pages as I finish them!
I hope to start scrapbooking/journaling more now that I started again 🤎

Okay, so you've seen a glimpse of my first-year anniversary scrapbook, and I know many of you are looking for those perfect romantic page ideas and DIY tips! Crafting this has been such a journey, and I’m so excited to share more practical inspiration to help you create your own beautiful, handmade keepsake. One of my favorite types of pages to include are those that really capture our unique story. For instance, I created a 'Contract for FOREVER' page, which is such a sweet and playful way to express commitment. You can personalize this with inside jokes, promises, and even a space for both of your signatures. Another must-have is the 'WHEN IT ALL STARTED' page. This is where you can highlight those pivotal moments from your first year – like our first kiss or the date we became official in December 2023. Think about adding a mini calendar or a timeline to make it super visual and nostalgic. Music plays such a big role in our relationship, so incorporating an 'OUR PLAYLIST' section was a no-brainer! I loved designing pages that resembled Spotify album covers, each representing a song special to us. A super cool trick is to generate a QR code for your playlist and include it on the page – that way, your partner can scan it and instantly listen to your shared soundtrack. Don't forget to weave in some meaningful song lyrics, like "They say nothing lasts Forever... Maybe some things last Forever After All," to add that extra emotional touch. To make the scrapbook interactive and inspiring for future memories, I dedicated a page to 'DATE NIGHT ideas.' Beyond the classics like Ice Cream, Sushi, Bowling, Hiking, Movies, and Paint Night, think about adding a "coupon book" element where your partner can "redeem" a date! Maybe a surprise picnic, a cooking class, or stargazing. It’s all about creating anticipation for your next adventures together. Another deeply personal touch is a 'WHAT IS A SOULMATE' page. This is a space to define what your partner means to you, perhaps using quotes, heartfelt letters, or even a collage of photos that embody your connection. I included elements like butterflies and vintage paper to give it an aesthetic feel. And don't shy away from pages filled with sweet declarations like "I love you" surrounded by red and brown kiss marks or a collage of your favorite moments spelling out 'LOVE' and 'YOU + ME.' Remember, this is your story, so let your creativity flow! When putting it all together, think about the overall aesthetic. Whether you lean towards a rustic, minimalist, or brightly colored theme, consistency makes it feel cohesive. Gathering all your photos, ticket stubs, and little mementos beforehand makes the crafting process much smoother. And don’t be afraid to experiment with different textures, stickers, and handwritten notes. This handmade anniversary scrapbook isn't just a gift; it's a labor of love that will be cherished for years to come. Happy scrapbooking!
