I learned to crochet!!

I have always been so inspired by women that can make things out of nothing. My boyfriend’s family all knows how to crochet, cross stitch, etc and I always wanted to make cute gifts and accessories like they do. So I decided I wanted to learn and the easiest way to get the basic patterns down is to crochet a stuffed animal! (With a video tutorial and step by step instructions of course)

What I’ve found through now making more projects is that I have always needed to have tv in the background of whatever on working on. I am easily bored or distracted and that can be very exhausting. Crocheting was the first time that I legitimately same in silence for 2-3 hours at a time was was about to just think and breath.

I would definitely recommend trying it! Whether you make hats, tops, bags, plushies, etc it is such a cool art form and really forces you to practice patience and focus. The Pennsylvania State University
