Having personally tried several pieces from Revolve's spring/summer collection, I find that their skirts and dresses offer a varied experience depending on the style and fabric. For example, the ELLIATT x REVOLVE Visitant Maxi Dress in sage is a stunning pick for events like weddings, thanks to its gorgeous color and elegant ring detail. However, I noticed that the fabric wrinkles quite easily and excess fabric around the skirt can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially for petite frames. On the other hand, the Line & Dot Wandering Crochet Dress is incredibly lightweight and breathable, ideal for hot days. That said, the coral color did not match the product images, appearing more saturated in person, and the material was sheer enough to require careful undergarment choices. Also, I found the fringe on the dress prone to tangling, which may not suit those who prefer fuss-free styles. The Lovers and Friends skirts impressed me with their comfort and fit. The Elsy Maxi Skirt, while adorable and soft, was notably long, which may need hemming depending on your height. The Surya Midi Skirt fit perfectly and had a lovely soft fabric, pairing well with its matching top, although it was longer than a typical midi and the light color can stain easily. Lastly, the Norma Kamali Ruffle Mini Dress offers a flattering fit with dramatic sleeves that make a statement. Although its low V neckline is very bold, it might require some layering for those seeking modesty. The tight boy shorts underneath were a bit restrictive. Overall, Revolve's collection caters to diverse tastes but it's essential to consider fabric characteristics and sizing carefully. Shopping with an eye for fabric behavior, length, and how true colors are to online images can save frustration. Pairing these pieces thoughtfully can elevate your spring/summer wardrobe significantly.
