5 things I wish I knew about Christianity!!!
you will find specific points noted in the slides, but here is a more specific breakdown.
1.) Trust you intuition; donāt trust everyone/ everything you see or hear.
- God is within you. trust his voice and lean into without doubting that youāre hearing from him. Nothing or no one know you better than you know yourself, besides God.
2.) Do not be overzealous and over spiritualize things unnecessarily.
- While healthy zeal can be a good thing, over-zeal can lead to judgmental/negative thoughts and beliefs about yourself and others. It will also lead to over spiritualizing, which can lead to to take the Word and will of God wayyy out of context. Be careful.
3.) Donāt feel like you have to force the gospel on anyone. and if you do⦠just donāt do it at all.
- This is self-explanatory. I feel like lots of believers feel pressured to share the gospel out of works sake and mainly because certain ministries force this into their teachings. Without realizing, everyone has a different gift/calling/way they want to share about God. It should be out of a pure heart and only that. When you force it, itās uncomfortable both for you and the other party, and God isnāt pleased either. Be genuine. and if you donāt feel led to share⦠then DONT. You also want to be mindful of forcing your views onto others. Always be mindful not to do this, in any regard.
4.) Instead of talking, talking, talking. we should learn to listen for onceā¦
- This is a hugeeee one. Actually, most of the best lessons iāve been taught came from listening, observing, and learning. From anywhere, anything, and anyone. There is so much simplicity in walking with God when you simply listen. Instead of talking, and trying to teach or share your life, sit back, receive. Allow God to speak through that thing, person, or place. You will find SO much more clarity I promise. BE STILL!!
5.)Keep your spiritual life sacred/private in certain aspects
- Somethings are simply meant to be kept between you and God. It is called the secret place for a reason. Do not let social media fool you into thinking to share your whole life on the media is the way. There is so much power in alone/sacred time in the secret place with God. You have to allow God to work in you before you can share share share. Let him complete the work in you, and then share once youāre ready. It takes patience, but I promise God is with you every step of the way. Keep certain things to yourself. This is where your power lies!!!!

Understanding Christianity involves navigating personal faith and societal expectations. One of the critical aspects is trusting your intuition. Recognizing that God communicates with you from within allows for a deeper connection to faith. It's vital to sift through external voices and discern God's guidance over societal pressures. Another important point is the danger of overzealousness. While enthusiasm for faith is commendable, excessive spirituality can lead to misinterpretation of scriptural teachings. Practicing moderation helps maintain a genuine relationship with God, free from judgment. In sharing the gospel, authenticity is key. It's essential to engage in conversations about faith naturally, rather than feeling obligated to impose beliefs on others. Understanding that each person has a unique pathway to spirituality fosters more meaningful interactions. Listening plays a crucial role in spiritual growth. Many insights come from silence and observation, promoting a restful heart that allows for divine communication. Finally, the importance of privacy in your spiritual practices cannot be overstated. Some experiences are meant to remain sacred, developing strength and intimacy in your relationship with God. Maintain moments that are solely for Him, cultivating your spiritual journey away from public scrutiny.
