My daughters Breakfast 🍳🍓

So I decided to try something new for my 1 year old daughter’s breakfast.

Normally I still have her on baby food because I do give her that for breakfast along w’ strawberries. So yesterday I decided to see if she will try eggs for the 1st time.

To my surprise, she likes it 😊. I gave her little by little & and she did not reject it. She ate it all up. This made me happy because it’s another food she can have added to her breakfast meals.

Eggs are an excellent source of protein and vitamins essential for a child's growth. Pairing them with fruits like strawberries not only adds flavor but also boosts the meal's nutritional value. Research suggests that introducing a variety of foods can encourage children to develop a taste for different flavors at an early age. Scrambled eggs, being soft and palatable, are often a great first egg dish for toddlers. Additionally, incorporating fruits such as strawberries can make breakfast vibrant and appealing. They are rich in antioxidants and vitamin C, which are vital for maintaining a healthy immune system in young children. Parents can also consider making breakfast fun. Using colorful plates or even allowing children to assist in meal preparation can enhance their interest in the food. This can lead to positive experiences around meals, making breakfast not only a necessity but also an enjoyable ritual for families. Ultimately, the goal is to foster healthy eating habits that can last a lifetime. Trying out new recipes, like scrambled eggs, and introducing them alongside familiar favorites can be a great strategy to diversify a toddler's diet and encourage them to embrace a variety of foods.
