... Read moreCash stuffing not only provides an effective method for budgeting, but it also empowers you with greater control over your finances. By physically allocating cash into envelopes, you can set clear limits that prevent overspending, a common pitfall in today's cashless society. This technique is also beneficial for saving towards specific goals, as it visually represents your progress and motivates you to adhere to your budget. With cash stuffing, you can adjust your spending categories easily, making it adaptable to changes in your lifestyle or financial situation. For many, cash stuffing brings a sense of financial freedom and security, as you're actively involved in managing your funds rather than relying solely on digital transactions. As a practical tip, consider starting with basic categories such as groceries, entertainment, and essentials, then gradually expand into more specific areas as you become comfortable with the method. This strategy integrates well with modern financial practices and can be enhanced by using budgeting apps to track your categories. Embrace cash stuffing as a lifestyle to maintain discipline, enhance your financial literacy, and enjoy peace of mind knowing you have control over your spending habits.

Downsides: zero interest rates, no financial security in the event of theft, many places have card only services, no credit building or reporting. Dave Ramsey is wrong. With discipline anyone can control their budget digitally or use a piece of paper and track spending based off categories and simple math to find the average spending for each category ie budget. I’d rather my money stay safe in account free from theft and gaining interest (making my money, make me money). Plus my credit cards have amazing benefits and gaining me more positive credit history.
