If I could start my 20’s over… Here’s what I would do.

If I could start my twenties over…

I’d stop waiting for clarity and start moving with what I already knew.

I’d take myself more seriously earlier.

I’d leave things the first time they showed me who they were.

And I’d stop calling delay “timing.”

I wouldn’t need everything figured out—

I’d just need to be consistent.

Because looking back… it was never confusion.

It was hesitation.

And I stayed longer in places I already outgrew

because I was hoping things would change without me changing anything.

Not regret… just awareness.

If you’re in your twenties right now, don’t waste time trying to get it perfect.

Just start. Adjust along the way. But move. #ewpeoplethepodcast #podcast

Like the original content suggests, the key isn't having everything figured out but embracing consistency and movement with what you already know. One big lesson I've learned is the importance of recognizing when an environment or relationship no longer serves your growth. Staying in places where you're merely tolerated instead of valued only prolongs discomfort and stagnation. Another crucial insight is that being self-aware is not enough; action must follow awareness. It’s easy to understand where we fall short, but real transformation occurs when we actually enforce boundaries and make decisions that protect our peace. Peace often requires making difficult choices and leaving behind what feels familiar but is no longer healthy. Moreover, I’ve found that growth often demands starting over. While it’s uncomfortable, beginning anew can open doors to opportunities and healing that were impossible in earlier environments. Not everyone around you will have your best interests at heart—some may benefit from your confusion or hesitation, so learning to discern and protect your energy is vital. If you’re in your twenties or beyond and find yourself stuck, remember that hesitation is often disguised as careful timing. Instead, try to move forward even with uncertainty. Adjust as you go along, and trust that momentum will reveal clarity incrementally. Aligning with this mindset transforms the experience of growing up from a season of frustration into one of powerful self-discovery.
